Our last meters Holm: The sun is
shining when we check in our luggage at the airport in Auckland. With
a machine of Singapore Airlines we ascend through thin shreds of
clouds and start the last leg of our trip: the trip home.
It takes 28 hours to
fly this huge distance around half of the world. More than 28.000
kilometres we cycled to come here and with the bike it took 26 month.
Now it is done in just 28 hours! No wonder that many thoughts are
crossing my mind during the long flight.

Our fund raising develops |

Sometimes surprising things happen. A few month ago we receive an Email of Astrid and Mewes. There it is written, that they are long distance bikers as well and are planning a long ride through Asia at the moment. Well, that is not quite so surprising, but then the Email also says, that they think our fund raising is good, that they feel positive about Elenas schoolproject and want to ask us, how we feel about them picking up our idea and try to raise 1 Cent per kilometer.
I show the Email to Julia and both of us are very fond of their idea. Since them a couple of weeks have passed and Astrid and Mewes started their trip on 20th of March. In case you are interested in their trip or you want to support them raising money for the Peter's Public School, then you can find more information on their website: www.rumradeln.de/
